Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 10, 2026

Divine Daily Dose (“we”, “us”) runs divinedailydose.com. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple and honest, because that is how we try to do everything here.

What we collect

Newsletter signup. When you subscribe, we collect your email address so we can send you the encouragement you asked for. Our email list is managed through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores your address on our behalf.

Prayer requests. When you share a prayer request, we collect the name you choose to give and the words of your request. Prayer requests are treated as confidential. Requests are stored privately and are read by our team so we can pray over them. We never publish a request unless you have clearly chosen to share it publicly.

Contact form. When you write to us, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message so we can reply.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help people, in aggregate. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device type, and the pages you visit. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

Videos. Our videos are hosted on YouTube. A video does not load anything from YouTube until you choose to play it. When you press play, the video is served from YouTube’s privacy enhanced domain, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies from that moment.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information. Not to anyone, not for any reason.
  • We do not send marketing email to people who have not subscribed.
  • We do not display your prayer requests publicly unless you have chosen that.

Who processes your data

A small number of services help us run the site: Kit for email, Google Analytics for site statistics, and our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database in the United States. Each processes data only so the site can work.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as it serves the purpose you gave it to us for. You can ask us to delete your email address, prayer requests, or messages at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email we send. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, reach us through the contact page and we will take care of it.

Children

The site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than bury it.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask us through the contact page. We will give you a straight answer.
